Summary
What this site stores on your device, why, and how to change your choice. Only essential storage is on until you say otherwise.
01Your choice
Three categories, one switch each.
- Essential
- Always on. These are needed to remember this choice and to make the site work.
- Preferences
- Off until you allow it. The site does not store any preference items today. If that changes, this policy and your choice come first.
- Analytics
- Off until you allow it. Nothing is collected for analytics today. If that changes, this policy and your choice come first.
Your choice is saved on this device as 7analytica-consent. Open Cookie settings in the footer at any time to change it. Clearing site data resets it and the banner returns.
02What is stored
Every item, named.
| Name | Category | Purpose | Lasts |
|---|---|---|---|
| 7analytica-consent | Essential | Remembers your cookie choice. | Local storage, until you change it or clear site data |
| 7analytica-theme | Essential | Keeps the light or dark theme you picked for this visit. | Session, until you close the tab |
| 7analytica-boot | Essential | Remembers that the opening animation has already played, so it does not repeat on every page. | Session, until you close the tab |
| 7analytica-stale-reload | Essential | Stops the page from reloading more than once when a new version of the site has just been published. | Session, until you close the tab |
03What we do not do
- We set no cookies of our own, and no advertising cookies. We do not build advertising profiles.
- We use no analytics tools today.
- We do not sell what is stored on your device.
- The waitlist form sends what you type to our server only when you finish it. Until then it stays in the page and is not saved on your device. The Contact and Collaborate pages open your own email app with a message you can read and edit before you send it.
- Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, receives your IP address and browser details when you load the site, as any host does. The Privacy Notice explains how that is handled.
- You can block or delete storage in your browser settings. The site still works.
Questions about this policy: [email protected]. How personal data is handled is set out in the Privacy Notice.
