7Analytica Intelligence Terminal

Privacy Policy

7analytica.com · Last updated 25 July 2026

The short version

We are a pre-launch product running a private waitlist and a small number of voluntary research interviews. If you join the waitlist we collect your email address. If you take part in a voice interview, we collect an audio recording and a transcript of what you say. We use this only to build and improve 7Analytica. We do not sell your data, and we collect as little as we reasonably can. You can ask us to delete your data at any time by emailing us.

The rest of this document is the formal detail behind that summary.

01Who we are

7Analytica Intelligence Terminal (“7Analytica”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is a media verification and provenance product currently in pre-launch development, based in Hyderabad, India. 7Analytica is the entity responsible for deciding how and why your personal data is processed — in data-protection terms, the data fiduciary under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (the “DPDP Act”) and the data controller under the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”), where those laws apply.

You can contact us about anything in this policy at bhuvanchandra@7analytica.com.

Note on our legal status. 7Analytica currently operates as a pre-launch project and is not yet incorporated as a registered company. When 7Analytica is established as a registered legal entity, this policy will be updated to reflect that entity’s name, company number, and registered address.

02The scope of this policy

This policy applies to personal data we collect through our website at 7analytica.com, including the waitlist signup and the “Shape 7Analytica” research section, and through any voice or written interviews we conduct as part of our consumer research. It does not apply to the 7Analytica product itself, which has not yet launched; a separate and more detailed policy will govern the live product, and we will ask you to review it before you use any released version of 7Analytica.

This policy also does not apply to third-party websites we may link to. Those sites have their own privacy practices, and we are not responsible for them.

03What personal data we collect

We deliberately keep data collection narrow. Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect the following.

3.1 · If you join the waitlist

  • Your email address, which you submit through our signup form.
  • Limited technical information that your browser sends automatically when you submit the form, such as the time of submission. We do not build advertising or tracking profiles from this.

3.2 · If you take part in a research interview

Our “Shape 7Analytica” research process has two stages: a short written screener (currently run through a Tally form) and, for some participants, a voluntary voice interview (currently run through an AI voice agent powered by ElevenLabs). If you choose to take part, we may collect:

  • Screener responses — the answers you give in the written screening form, which may include information about your profession, your news-consumption habits, and your views on media and information.
  • Voice recordings — an audio recording of your interview, if you take part in a voice session.
  • Transcripts — a written transcript generated from that audio recording.
  • Contact details — an email address or other contact information you give us so we can arrange the interview or follow up with you.

We will always tell you, before a voice interview begins, that it is being recorded, and we will only proceed if you agree. Taking part is entirely voluntary, and you can stop at any point. Please avoid sharing sensitive personal information — such as health, financial, religious, caste, or political-affiliation details — during interviews, as we do not need it and do not wish to collect it.

3.3 · What we do not collect

We do not knowingly collect special or sensitive categories of personal data. We do not collect payment information at this stage, because 7Analytica is not yet a paid product. We do not use third-party advertising trackers or sell data to data brokers.

04How we use your data, and our legal basis

We use the personal data described above only for the following purposes:

  • To operate and manage the waitlist, and to contact you when 7Analytica opens for early access or beta testing;
  • To conduct, analyse, and learn from consumer research so that we can design and build the 7Analytica product;
  • To respond to your enquiries and to communicate with you about your participation;
  • To protect the security and integrity of our website and to prevent spam or abuse; and
  • To comply with our legal obligations.

Where the GDPR applies to you, our legal basis for processing is your consent (which you give when you submit the waitlist form or agree to be interviewed) and, in some cases, our legitimate interests in developing our product and securing our systems, balanced against your rights. Where the DPDP Act applies, we process your data on the basis of the consent you provide for the specific purposes set out in this policy. You can withdraw your consent at any time (see Section 8).

05The tools and service providers we use

We are a small operation and we rely on a handful of established third-party services to function. These providers process personal data on our behalf, under our instructions. The main ones are set out below. Some of them are based outside India, which means your data may be transferred to and processed in other countries (see Section 6).

06International data transfers

Some of the service providers listed above are based outside India — for example, in the United States. When you give us your data, you understand that it may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in countries whose data-protection laws may differ from those of your own country. Where we are required to do so by law, we take reasonable steps to ensure that such transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards. If the GDPR applies to you, this includes relying on mechanisms such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses where applicable.

07How long we keep your data

We keep personal data only for as long as we need it for the purposes described in this policy.

  • Waitlist data is kept until 7Analytica launches and you have had the chance to create an account, or until you ask us to remove you, whichever comes first.
  • Research data (recordings, transcripts, and screener responses) is kept for the duration of our research and product-design work, and is then deleted or anonymised so that it can no longer be linked to you.

When we no longer need your data, we delete it or irreversibly anonymise it.

08Your rights

You have rights over your personal data. Depending on where you live, these may include the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you;
  • Correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete;
  • Delete your personal data (“erasure”);
  • Withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on your consent;
  • Object to or restrict certain processing; and
  • Data portability — to receive a copy of your data in a usable format, where this applies.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at bhuvanchandra@7analytica.com. We will respond within the timeframe required by the law that applies to you. Exercising these rights is free, and we will never penalise you for doing so.

If the DPDP Act applies to you, you also have the right to nominate another person to exercise your rights in the event of your death or incapacity, and the right to a grievance-redressal process (see Section 11). If the GDPR applies to you and you believe we have mishandled your data, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.

09Children and young people

7Analytica is intended for adult professionals and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly invite anyone under the age of 18 to join the waitlist or take part in interviews. Under the DPDP Act, processing the personal data of anyone under 18 requires verifiable parental consent, and the GDPR sets similar protections for children. If you are under 18, please do not submit personal data to us. If we learn that we have collected data from someone under 18 without the required consent, we will delete it.

10How we protect your data

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data. Our website is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and we limit access to personal data to those who need it to do the work described in this policy. No method of transmission or storage is ever completely secure, but we work to protect your data and to address any security issue promptly. If a data breach occurs that is likely to affect your rights, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by law.

11Grievance redressal and contact

If you have any question, concern, or complaint about how we handle your personal data, please contact us first — we would much rather hear from you and put things right. You can reach us at:

12Changes to this policy

Because 7Analytica is still being built, this policy will change as the product develops — particularly before launch. When we make a material change, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top and, where appropriate, notify you by email. We encourage you to review this policy from time to time.
